Biography
Dr. John Mark G. Payawal is an Associate Professor IV and currently serves as the Officer-in-Charge Vice President for Academic Affairs and Head of the Research and Development Office at Colegio de Muntinlupa. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from Dong-A University as a BK21 Scholar, specializing in artificial intelligence applications for structural health monitoring. His research interests include artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure, disaster resilience, engineering innovation, and higher education development. He has led and secured several externally funded research and innovation projects and has received recognitions for his contributions to research, teaching, and public service. Dr. Payawal actively promotes industry-academe-government collaboration to develop practical solutions for community and national development.
